The true purpose of education is to open the horizons for the curious young minds, refine and polish them in such a way that they become responsible citizens of our country. “The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.” NWSSS was established in 1974 by our Late Mother Ma’am, Mrs. Prem Wadhawan, a noble and virtuous person. Under her guidance, the school has earned its own niche not only in the city but also across the globe. Converting every individual into a self-reliant and independent citizen, the school provides an amalgam of scholastic and co-scholastic activities. Our school is truly dedicated to academic excellence and fostering holistic growth for its students. The commitment to improve teaching methodologies and promoting activity-based learning is admirable. Encouraging a scientific temper and an inquisitive mind among students reflects a forward-thinking approach to education.
Pursuing the objectives outlined in NEP-2020 and the Standards Framework for Excellence in School Education (SQAA) framework, which was created by CBSE to spur revolutionary change in the educational system,. It sounds like the SQAA framework developed by CBSE is being used by NEP-2020 to promote major reforms in the school education system. This framework seems to provide a thorough method for improving several facets of schools with the goal of achieving a holistic change in line with NEP-2020. It is intended to promote self- reflection, teamwork, creativity, and accountability across schools, in addition to standardizing processes. This kind of program is essential for guaranteeing that student learning results are continuously improved and that schools are able to adjust to the changing needs of education.
To improve teaching learning process of students, counselling sessions are being conducted frequently. Career counselling sessions are also being conducted for senior students. From the new session we are starting counselling sessions for parents also.
It’s impressive to see that the school is nurturing not only academic skills but also talents in various activities like Elocution, Debates, Quizzes, Dancing, Art, Cooking, and Skating. These initiatives not only broaden students’ horizons but also enhance their confidence and skills.Celebrtaion of National Festivals, Investiture ceremony , Picnic, Founders Day,PT display were the highlights of the year.
From session 2025 we are starting Instrumental Music as well as Taekwando Academy.
The acknowledgment of students' achievements through awards and certificates further motivates them to excel and reach their full potential. Overall, New Way Senior Secondary School is not just shaping academically proficient individuals but responsible and engaged citizens of the community. The institution awards meritorious in cash/gifts /suitable prizes to the three position holders of every class as well as to those who score 90% or more marks in the board examinations. Toppers of each class and their parents ae honoured annually. In addition, four scholarships to toppers of class X wherein free education is imparted for a year in the name of our founder, Late Mrs. Prem Wadhawan

The Motto of our school is “ ENTER TO LEARN, LIVE TO SERVE” To pursue the motto we involve our students in various welfare activities like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the anti-plastic campaign, and the 'USE HELMET' drive that showcase their commitment to societal well-being and safety measures. Distributing paper bags and advocating for traffic rules demonstrate their active participation in community initiatives We've taken steps to ensure safety by constructing a ramp for students with special needs according to CBSE standards. Additionally, we've upgraded our facilities this year, drinking water facilities, high sanitation standards, a fire fighting system, a computer lab, and upgraded CCTV cameras." Air Conditioners are being installed in Pre-Primary and Primary sections.
